As we begin the new year, we’re excited to announce the completion of our 1,000th project. That’s right! Since 2001 we’ve been focused on providing the industry’s best Crestron programming and now we’ve completed over 1000 projects. As a Crestron Authorized Independent Programming (CAIP) company we’ve completed projects from Singapore and Washington DC to St. Louis, Phoenix, San Francisco and San Diego. We’ve delivered 1,000 Crestron projects in just about every environment you can imagine. From residential and commercial projects to military, government and education, we’ve done a lot. We’ve even provided Crestron programming for specialized transportation like yachts, RV’s and personal jets.
The technology has certainly changed over the past 12 years, but our commitment to Crestron programming and design support has been unwavering. Many of our customers have partnered with us for several years and truly know the level of quality, professionalism and support we provide to Crestron dealers and end users. As Crestron products evolve and support more advanced functionality we evolve as well. We’re constantly training to stay sharp with new programming techniques, languages and integration opportunities.
Trends in AV Control
In the past several years we’ve seen the rise of smart mobile devices like the iPhone and iPad. They’ve become a regular part of what we do, allowing homeowners to control their music, HVAC, lights and the rest of the house from their easy-to-use iPad. Although the integration opportunities with these devices are less direct then with purpose-built Crestron touch panels and remotes, the convenience and cost often makes them a viable option. We expect the smart device trend to continue and the integration with these devices to become simpler and more native.
Although the housing market has slumped, we’ve notice an increased willingness on the part of builders to include structured wiring and pre-wired options. There’s also more and more being done over CAT5 and RF (wireless).
For more than a decade, we’ve seen Crestron dealers and Crestron programmers come and go. But we’ve found success by remaining focused and staying up-to-date by continuing our certifications and education.
