Lately at AVPA, we’ve been working more with Extron Electronics products. Extron’s equipment, which includes all types of AV components, is ideally suited for both commercial environments and government projects. Extron’s Pro equipment gives our Extron programming specialists the ability to tailor systems and provide custom features to meet the needs of even the most demanding commercial and government customers.
One specific application that is particularly well-suited to Extron products is the modern courtroom. We are finding that courtrooms in San Diego, Orange County, and Riverside have a need to be increasingly tech-savvy these days. Video and audio recordings are regularly used as evidence in cases, and the courts need to be able to easily display this type of evidence in multiple formats on different types of monitors or devices. They also need the ability to seamlessly transition between video and audio recordings, and be able to share documents, photographs, and other images.
Extron has products that can integrate a courtroom’s video and audio files into presentation displays, as well as equipment with built-in audio and video switching for easy transitions. What’s more, with Extron, AVPA is able to offer the ability to control the equipment via a number of user interface and device types.
Because most courthouses contain multiple courtrooms that all have similar Extron programming needs, we are able to program one system for video and audio display, thoroughly test that system, and then duplicate that system for use in multiple locations within the courthouse. This saves our client money, which is especially important for our government projects that are often on strict budgets, and it helps the project be completed in less time, because we are able to extend and build upon the code that has already been written and tested.
As an Extron Qualified Independent Programming (EQIP) Company, with Extron Certified Control Professionals on staff, AVPA is able to provide our customers with experienced, professional Extron programming services. Not only do we give our customers the customized functionality they are looking for, but we also make sure it is easy to use. We recognize that not everyone who uses the Extron systems we program will be well-versed in technology, so we make the systems we program as user-friendly as possible.
With well over a decade of AV industry experience throughout San Diego, Orange County, and Riverside County, AVPA is able to provide quality programming services in all types of environments and to meet a variety of needs.
