AVPA recently opened a new office in the Reno, Nevada area and is currently looking to hire an experienced Crestron Programmer to add to our team.
Ideal Candidate for this Position
The ideal candidate for this Crestron Programmer position is someone who currently resides in, or is willing to relocate to the Reno area and meets the following qualifications:
- Certified Crestron programmer, or at least 1 year of experience working on real-world Crestron programming projects
- At least 2 years of AV experience (sound or video)
The following experience is a plus:
- DSP programming experience
- C# or .NET development experience
Preference will be given to candidates with an understanding of electrical engineering, though this is not a requirement.
Anyone we hire must have good communication skills and the ability to present themselves in a professional manner, as they will be dealing directly with clients on occasion. They also must be internally motivated and a self-starter, since the majority of the work for this position will be completed from home. An eagerness to learn and a willingness to adapt to our ever-changing scope of work is essential. Some travel may be required on occasion for installations and troubleshooting.
