AVPA is looking to add an experienced Extron Programmer to our San Diego team due to the increased demand for our Extron programming services in Southern California and Arizona.
Candidates must be located in Southern California, ideally near San Diego. The majority of the work for this position will be completed from home, but employees are occasionally needed on site for installations and troubleshooting at our clients’ locations.
Qualifications for Our San Diego Extron Programmer Position
The ideal candidate for the Extron Programmer position in our San Diego office is someone who is a self-starter and able to produce high-quality work with little supervision. To be hired as an Extron Programmer at AVPA, you must also possess the following qualifications:
- Certified Extron programmer with at least 1 year of experience working on Extron programming projects in a professional environment
- At least 2 years of AV experience (either sound or video)
The following experience is a plus:
- DSP programming experience
Other requirements for this position include:
- Good communication skills and the ability to present yourself in a professional manner for client interactions
- A willingness to learn and to adapt to our ever-changing industry and to the needs of our diverse clients
- Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality, as we sometimes deal with high-profile clients
- The ability to travel when needed
