Crestron’s wireless communication uses their own infiNET EX technology, rather than operating on WiFi. This gives homeowners—especially those in urban areas—more reliable performance from their lighting systems.

It also means you have the ability to set “scenes.” A scene is a preset that gives you one-touch control of multiple systems. For example, you could have a “Dinner Party” scene that puts your dining room’s lighting, temperature, and audio levels at predetermined levels with the push of one button. Or you could have a “Good Morning” scene that raises your shades, turns on certain lights throughout the house, and disengages your home security system all at the same time.
