AV Programming Associates is currently looking for an experienced Extron Programmer to join our team working in the Reno, Nevada area. AVPA is an established, well-respected programming company with more than 1,000 completed projects to date. You will be joining a team of talented professionals and using your Extron programming skills on exciting projects in and around Reno, Nevada.
Qualifications for the Extron Programmer Position in Reno
Although much of the work in this position will be able to be completed from home, anyone applying for this position must live in or be willing to relocate to the Reno, Nevada area, as you will be needed on site for installations and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate for this position will also possess the following requirements:
- Certified Extron programmer with at least 1 year of experience working on Extron programming projects in a professional environment
- At least 2 years of AV experience (either sound or video)
The following experience is a plus:
- DSP programming experience
Candidates for this position are expected to have good communication skills and be able to present themselves in a professional manner, as they will be dealing directly with clients on occasion. They must also be able to maintain confidentiality as it pertains to our clients.
Candidates should be willing to learn and to adapt to industry changes and meet the needs of our Extron programming clients. They must also be self-starters and self-motivated—able to work independently and still meet deadlines.
Some travel is required in this position, though most work will be either completed from home or in the Reno, Nevada area.
