Matthew Grisafe is the Owner and President of AV Programming Associates. He founded the company in 2001 and is still intimately involved in every project that the company takes on. A continual learner, Matt stays up-to-date on the latest trends and advances in Crestron programming and Extron programming, and how they can be applied in various environments to the benefit of his clients.
The part Matt enjoys most about owning and operating a company like AVPA is the diversity of projects he is able to be involved with, and the diversity of people he gets to meet as a result. The company’s first project was with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and since then, AVPA has worked with various other government agencies, as well as in entertainment and sporting venues, houses of worship, universities, and private residences. He places a high value on customer service and works hard to exceed expectations and create long-term partnerships.
Matt is the author of Our Code, a book about the founding and history of AVPA, with insights into small business ownership. He has also written an e-book titled Home Entertainment and Control at the Tip of Your Finger, which helps readers understand what is possible with Crestron programming for home automation and control. Matt’s latest book, Business Ain’t Rocket Science, was released in conjunction with AVPA’s 20th anniversary. In this book, readers will find real-world stories and business tips that are applicable to small business owners in any industry.
Matt has been married to his wife Kristie for more than 30 years and is the proud father of three grown sons. He lives and works in the Lake Tahoe area, but travels all over the world completing Crestron and Extron programming projects for his valued customers.
